Charlotte, NC is one of the fastest growing cities in America ranking 17 behind Austin and Fort Worth, Texas. Over 25 percent of Charlotte households make at least $100,000, but a quarter of Charlotte's children are poor 5% Caucasians,  36% African Americans, 39% Hispanics. Children raised in poverty in Charlotte have a 4% chance of escaping poverty.

Youth Establishing Success, empowers young teen girls to identify and achieve goals, grow as leaders, and overcome life's challenges. Y.E.S strives to provide a unique, life changing experience to all of the community's young minds. Y.E.S young girls will have the opportunity to make connections and build relationships with other young females. Y.E.S will introduce them to resources in order to prepare them for success, to be leaders in the community, and the courage to be the architect of their future.
